How To Get Your CE Certificates

NCSEA is using a new process to simplify our procedures for distributing Certificates of Completion. We will email the certificates to all attendees earning CE hours using SimpleCert's Certificate Management System. SimpleCert sends each certificate in separate emails.
You will want to change your spam settings to allow emails from "[email protected]" going forward so these emails will not be blocked or sent to your spam folder. If you have attended an event and do not see your Certificate of Completion in your inbox after a few days, please check your spam folder for the email.
Each email's subject line is "NCSEA Certificate of Completion [Name of Event].
The sender is listed as "North Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents."
Note that this process has been put in place beginning with our November 2024 webinars and is not available for certificates issued for events prior to November 2, 2024.
NCSEA's Certificates of Completion are not generated automatically in real-time. You will want to allow time for our volunteer CE administrators to verify attendance records after each event before we can issue Certificates of Completion and upload any qualifying IRS CE hours to PTIN accounts. This is usually done within 10 days of the event.
As an IRS Approved Continuing Education Provider, NCSEA issues Certificates of Completion in accordance with the standards set forth in Circular 230, Section 10.6. If you register for an event, but do not attend the event for at least 50 minutes of instruction time, you will not earn any IRS CE hours for that event. CPAs, attorneys, and other professionals should check with their licensing state boards/organizations to determine if credit applies for their continuing professional education. NCSEA is NOT a member of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors for NASBA.
